Question:

What is the difference between direct hire, temp-to-hire, and temp?

Answer:

  • Direct Hire - formerly known as a permanent position.

  • Temp-to-Hire - After completing a specified number of hours at the company you are assigned to, if both you and the company are satisfied with each other, you would be transitioned from our payroll to theirs.

  • Temporary Positions - You would work at a company for either a specific length of time or an indefinite period. These positions can go longer or end sooner than expected. There is no expectation of direct hire or temp-to-hire. Our Office Support and Light Industrial divisions refer to these employees as "Temps", where our Technology Division refers to them as "Consultants", or "Contractors".
